Whose “Word” Is It Anyway?

March 6, 2011 in Bible, Kitchen Sink, Law, Local Content, Prophecy, Studies, Testimonies, The Gospel by admin

Who is the written and spoken word? Or who is it that rules over that written and spoken word? We see throughout the whole Bible, where God and our Lord Jesus spoke of the word, described as tongues in some instances. For God, Him-self has had control over the word since before the beginning of time. He has spoken things into existence, by His word. He has changed the tongues of mankind, so they could not understand the spoken word of each other, for their arrogance and disobedience. He has caused tongues of a flame and of fire to come upon mankind, as utterance was given for foreigners to understand. These tongues of fire were and still are a sign of the Holy Spirit of GOD sent to dwell inside mankind.

This “word” this simple little four letter statement is in the King James Version of the Bible 699 times. When you consider that the Bible itself is God’s word the number is an even 700. Seven being the number of perfection, seems quite a coincidence. When referring to God in all His wisdom, my own understanding of a coincidence is, merely God’s will being manifested.

Gen 1:3  And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.

Gen 1:6  And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.

Gen 1:7  And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

Gen 1:9  And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.

Gen 1:11  And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.

Gen 1:14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Gen 1:15  And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. (It goes on and on. When God speaks it will be so.)

So there is great power in the word of God whom first used it both spoken and written. He, God himself therefore has complete ownership of both the written and the spoken word. For he did write the history of creation in the Heavens, before the creation of mankind, or the fall of satan and his followers. For this reason we know that the written and spoken word is of God, is God and is also a gift from God himself.

Now I ask you to ask yourselves, whom can claim ownership of any word written or spoken. Since all words are of God and not our own. For some among us choose to try and have dominion and ownership over the words they speak or write as if those words are a personal possession which can be bought or sold. They seek to control their spoken or written word, not willing to give the glory to God for all his blessings, but choose to capitalize on those blessings from God by actually charging their fellow man for use of those words written or spoken by them.

How arrogant can mankind be, as to think himself worthy of ownership, in what belongs to God Himself in all his omniscience and power? When they try and do such things, they are really trying to be gods themselves, for who can rule over those possessions which belong to God?

Joh 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.

Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Joh 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

Joh 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

John 1:1 uses “word” three times in one verse. Some may say it is once for each part of the Trinity. It is safe to say that all word, speech and every creation known unto mankind belongs to God. We are gifted things from Him as we have need, but God never intended mankind to usurp that gift over his Brethren for profit or gain. That would be the way of the heathen. For God tells us that we freely receive, so therefore freely give.

A scribe or modern day printer may well deserve his wages. A messenger or modern day postal service may also correctly receive wages. Now there may be times where funds might be required to do service for the word, but never just purely for the purpose of recognizing those whom had a thought or an idea, which would have been generated or given by God Himself as a blessing and not for the purpose of capital gain. It seems as if many people expect to be paid for each and every effort put forth, even our Children are being programed to expect something for just doing their part around the house.

1Co 2:12  Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

1Co 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Our society has been deceived into thinking every effort requires some type of payment, while God’s word speaks of charity and how it is better to give than to receive. Our society is corrupt, worldly, greedy, selfish, stiff necked, and stubborn, with hearts of stone. We are not like the example which Jesus was to us at all. I pray that we would examine ourselves, that we would rebuke those evil demonic powers of greed, selfishness, and worldly desires. That we would ask God for forgiveness and seek to have our necks softened, our hearts of stone replaced with a heart of flesh, as well as a renewing of our minds unto the righteousness of our Lord God in all His power and strength.

Mat 12:34  O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Mat 12:35  A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Mat 12:36  But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Mat 12:37  For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Some may well say that their books and literature that are sold is their primary source of income. I say hog-wash. Know ye not that the Lord of Heaven takes care of his own, you need to have a little faith in Him. When we get back to trusting God to provide and we return to the way he originally intended us to be, we will be better taken care of, because we would then be obedient unto Him. I have seen many Ministries who give their literature away and they are blessed by offerings, of sufficient amount to grow that Ministry worldwide. You see when we are obedient to God and we seek his will in our lives and his Ministries we will be blessed. Those who choose to do things their own way, have ulterior motives of selfish gain. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing seeking to steal, kill and destroy.

Mat 7:15  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

It is the same old battle we fight daily, of light against darkness and good over evil in the Spiritual realm. We’ve been fighting that same old fight, ever since the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden. However, we must look into that Spiritual realm, with our Spiritual eyes, to be able to see where to place the blame. We can then place blame where blame is due. This blame is not due upon your fellow man, but upon the powers that deceive him. For we love the person, but hate the powers that bind him. We need to gather together as a mighty force, to bring into subjection that very entity. We must pray for and hold dear to those whom we love, in all righteousness, holiness and love. We must claim the victory unto our Lord God, by faith in Christ Jesus, for the good of the Family of God.

I beseech you therefore Brethren, to ask you in all kindness and the love of God, to please not deny the word from your fellow man for personal gain. Never once in any part of the Bible, have I ever seen an instance where anyone expected something from their fellow man, for simply receiving a written or spoken word. Fight the good fight, give and not take, love thy neighbor as thy self. For by doing these thing much more will be given unto you from above.

Please know this, that all will not respond to this plea from the Lord in a good as well as positive manner. They will retort, rebuke and deny that which we have received from God our Father. Those who do understand are of the minority. They are only a few, but they are the ones blessed by God. They have His protection, as well as His Holy Word. Those who do not choose to accept this plea, are not of the Heavenly Kingdom, but are of this world. They choose to serve themselves and man’s traditions, rather than the will of our Lord in Heaven. You will know them by their fruits, which will not be of the good kind.

Finally I give all the praise honor and glory unto the Lord my God, for the blessing of these his words. I pray that they will be received in all manners in which they were written, by the love and faithfulness in our Lord Jesus Christ, amen…

True Soul Winner

If you want to be a true soul winner for God, then you must carry God correctly! God cannot be sprayed on like cologne or used like a credit card hidden in your pocket, but God must live through you. It’s getting really hard for the people of God to be effective in reaching out to the world because the world is starting to believe in their own form of righteousness and even though they have no commitment to God, they believe that they are heaven bound. This is the churches fault! We have made so many excuses for ourselves and them, going after money instead of deliverance or preaching feel good messages instead of preaching the total truth, until now, the world is walking along side us as if they are okay. When we hide the truth, we give no reason for change to the world! When we are of the world, then we promote it and cause the world to accept themselves instead of God. It’s all about how we carry God in our daily lives.
